the atkins diet and chocolate covered-Sami
Good Morning!
Thought I would write a bit before I joined my husband, kids and Father-in-law (FIL) for some homemade blackberry pancakes (yum!)
FIL & I were talking last night about going on the Atkins diet together. Since our will is not strong enough alone, we are hoping it will if we are both trying it, we can have someone to whine too. The only thing that scares me, though, is how did the man himself (Atkins) die, and was it related to his low carb high protein lifestyle? Yikes.
Feeling good today. Slept until I heard Sami wailing. Bryan got up to find her in the bucket of chocolate, and COVERED. Nope, we will never learn (lol) She only started to cry when he took the bucket away. So he just sat them both in their highchairs and gave them milk. Sami is doing wonderfully with a regular cup. Julie starts out wonderfully, and then proceeds to pour it everywhere and wipe it with her hand. She'll learn.
Ok, gotta run. I am so hungry. And I miss my husband. The kitchen is rooms away, you know ;)
