happy (belated) anniversary and an ode to snow
i love snow. i miss snow. my mom was telling me that they are expecting a storm today(well the 5th) wish i was there. did you know it was also my mom and dad's 32nd wedding anniversary? they've had their ups and downs, but basically can't live without one another. its odd.
anyway, i wrote 10 reasons why i love snow. feel free to add your own. (anyone out there? yey, neh, heh? ppl, i hear CRICKETS!) :)
1-I love snow because it looks gorgeous glistening on the trees & grass
2-I love snow because the white parts taste YUMMY
3-I love snow because you can lay in it and throw it and build with it
4-I love snow because its bright and white and makes you think of holiday events upcoming or just past
5-I love snow because it makes you chilly and after being in it, its nice to cuddle up in warm socks and hot chocolate with marshmallows.
6-I love snow because it forces people to stay home, stops the world, and gives loved ones more precious time together.
7-I love snow because its super cool to photograph a 3 foot mound of it after a huge storm.
8-I love snow because i was born in december, in the midst of the white blankets of bliss.
9-I love snow because besides white sands, its one of the purest most beautiful scenes of nature.
10-I love snow because it makes kids laugh and their laughter is contageous.
(of course, I am normal/human, and i know that driving in snow/slush sucks, etc, but I am learning to be an optimist, so no mention of that in my 10. HA!) ;)
i made some banana bread and muffins. please feel free to grab some on your way out. **passing out napkins**
