happy birthday mom, another weird dream, unexpected money, and a date!
HAPPY HAPPY, Mrs. Pokey!!! :) That's a goofy nickname I gave my mom when I was in 7th grade and it stuck. She wasn't thrilled then, but now, its more common than using "mom." LOL.
Anyway. Here I am, the woman with the wild dreams. Last's night's dream included this pretty woman, who kept hitting on me. I told her I was married, but I was flattered. I also asked her if she thought I had a "lesbian" face (no, I have no idea what that means, either), and she said, "Oh, yes!" Okkkk...that was odd. But, she was pretty ;) LOL.
Yesterday was a crazy day! Lovie's dad gave him $50 to take me out as a treat!!! Its been a while and I was SO excited! Then, Love got $20 more from doing someone a favor (cutting meat). And THEN, he got a Christmas bonus of $300 for C-mas gifts ONLY! YIPPEE!! I think we will make sure we make mortgage, and then BLOW IT ALL! YEY!
Ok, so dinner first. That was fabulous. See, the the chef/owner came into Lovie's store yesterday and needed freezer space for chili, and Lovie said he'd store it for him. The man was ever so grateful and told him that he could come in for a free meal, and he told the guy "As a matter of fact, I am taking my wife out *tonight*" (lol) so we went to this nice restaurant (Val Verde) and had such a scrumptious dinner and dessert. It was a $45 BILL! But, it was FREE. We left a generous tip for our wonderful host and left. We did a little shopping for stocking stuffers for the girls in town and then we went to the movies.
We saw ELF. It was so cute. Will Ferrell is sooo funny! It was a great "feel-good" kind of movie. I was crying at the end. LOL. I am such a sap. Ok, go watch it and you will see what I mean, ok? ok! :)
So, thats been my last 24 hours :) I am going to get something to eat. Be back later!
